# Getting Started

Create an account and learn how to work with {inject-platform-name}.

Welcome to the {inject-brand-name} documentation. {inject-brand-name} is a Swiss payment platform that lets you accept payments **online**, **in-store on terminals** and at **unattended machines** — all managed from one portal, with one contract and consolidated reporting. This section takes you from creating your account to accepting your first payment.

### Free trial & account activation

When you sign up, your account starts in a **free trial** (restricted mode): integrate your webshop, configure a terminal, activate payment methods in test mode and process test transactions — free of charge for up to four months. You are notified by email before the trial ends and can extend it once.

To accept live payments, activate your account:

1. **Register your organisation** — company details, legal form and beneficial owners (UBOs).
2. **Complete the digital identity verification (KYC)** — all legal representatives are guided through the online identification.
3. **Final review & activation** — once approved, your selected payment methods are activated and your subscription starts.
