# Terminal "beeps" constantly

**Your terminal is continuously emitting a repeated "beep"? Please check the following:**

1. **Is the customer’s card still inserted in the terminal?**\
   If yes, please remove it and check if the beeping stops.
2. **If the card is not inserted:**\
   It’s possible that there are small objects or debris stuck in the card reader.

In this case, the terminal will need to be sent in for inspection.

* Please note: A flat fee of CHF 80.– will be charged for the inspection.
* If additional costs arise (e.g. due to repair or replacement), you will be informed in advance.
