# SoftPOS on Android

This guide helps integrators connect their Android applications with the wallee SoftPOS solution — turning a standard Android device into a fully-fledged card payment terminal, no extra hardware required.

The integration is built around the Terminal API, an Android library exposing a Kotlin coroutine and Java callback API. The SDK binds to the on-device SoftPOS service and groups operations by domain: payments, configuration, batch, and identification.

Integration is intentionally lightweight: a few SDK calls are enough to accept your first transaction.
